Can I use this as pendant lighting for a kitchen island?
Yes. Hang one or cluster two to three pendants 12–18″ apart above a 3–4 ft island section for task lighting. Verify ceiling height; the 59″ cord reaches most standard 9 ft ceilings with room to adjust.
What bulb should I buy?
Any E12 or E14 base bulb fits. A 40–60W equivalent LED in warm white (2700K) provides soft, energy-efficient light through alabaster. Incandescent or halogen bulbs work but run hotter and cost more to operate.
Will this work with a dimmer switch?
Yes, it is compatible with standard household dimmers. Use dimmable LED or incandescent bulbs; not all LEDs dim smoothly, so check the bulb packaging.
Can I shorten or lengthen the cord?
The fixture ships with 59″ of cable. Custom lengths are available upon request—contact customer service with your exact measurement before or after purchase.
