01Overview
Hand-polished travertine disc with warm orb below casts soft light in two directions.
A pendant with natural travertine shade (9.8″ or 15.7″ wide) that hangs 13″ tall and works as a single pendant or clustered in groups. Light spreads upward through the porous disc and downward from the central orb, creating calm, layered ambiance. Mount over dining tables, kitchen islands, or bedside tables—confirm your ceiling is flat before ordering, as sloped installation is not compatible.

Each piece varies in pore pattern and veining due to hand-polishing. Yellowed beige tone with visible surface texture.
Warm central orb
Frosted glass globe sits beneath the travertine disc. Emits light downward onto tables and seating areas.

Requires electrical connection; not a plug-in pendant light. Ceiling-mounted with 170cm cable supplied; custom lengths available.

Can I use this as a plug-in pendant light?
No. This fixture is hardwired and requires ceiling installation. It is not a plug-in pendant.
Will the travertine pattern in my fixture match the photos?
No. Each piece is hand-polished natural stone with unique pore and veining patterns. Your fixture will differ from product images.
Can I install this on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
No. Flat roof installation only. Sloped ceilings are not compatible.
What size bulb does it take, and is one included?
G9 base bulb. Bulbs are not included. Warm white (2700K) bulbs are recommended.

Stone thatholds the light
Travertine is a limestone laid down by mineral springs, layer over layer, with gas bubbles trapped inside. We cut it, shape it by hand and leave those pores open, so every lamp carries the record of how its stone was made.

From block to lamp
Every piece in the series goes through the same four stages in the workshop.
01Choosing the block
Blocks are sorted by tone and pore density. Stone with deep cracks or large voids is set aside, since it can't hold a thin wall.
02Cutting
Water-cooled saws cut each block into slabs, discs and cylinders. The direction of the cut decides whether the shade shows stripes or clouds.
03Shaping by hand
Shades are turned, carved and drilled one at a time. Edges are rounded off by hand so the stone feels soft, not sharp.
04Finishing and fitting
Surfaces are ground smooth and polished, with the pores left open. Each shade is then fitted with its hardware and lit before it ships.

Travertine forms in horizontal bands. Cut across them or along them, and the same block gives two completely different surfaces.

The details you only notice once the lamp is on your ceiling.
A fold cut into solid stone. On Kennett, the bulb hides behind a carved flap, so light spills down the wall with no visible source.
Carved ribs. Candeeiro's rippled body, shaped by hand.
Softened edges. Lindby's bezel, rounded over by hand.
Bored from solid. The socket sits inside the stone itself.
Stone and wood. A walnut-color sphere caps Herda.
A warm underside. Light pools inside Sumit's shallow bowl.

Pores left open. Honed smooth, holes and all.

What natural stone means for you
- Yours will be one of a kindThe shape and color match the photos. The veining and pores won't, because no two blocks are the same.
- Pits are part of the stoneSmall holes and shifts in tone are how travertine forms, not defects.
- Keep it dryThe stone is porous and unsealed, so the series is for dry indoor rooms only (IP20).
- Dust, don't washUse a soft, dry cloth. Skip water, acidic or harsh cleaners, and stone sealers.
