The Corneel Fabric Wall Sconce pairs European heritage with a modern American eye. An arched gooseneck arm in vintage brass holds a pleated linen shade that hangs like a small lantern, its scalloped edge finished with contrasting trim to soften the light into a warm glow. Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulb does it take?
It uses a small E12 (candelabra) or E14 base bulb, not included. A low-wattage warm LED keeps the linen shade cool; check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
Will the backplate cover my junction box?
The backplate is 4.75" (12 cm). Compare this with your wall junction box before ordering, and contact our team if you're unsure.
Can I use this beside a bathroom mirror?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, and the fabric shade can absorb humidity, so it's not suited to bathrooms.
How do I clean the linen shade?
Dust it regularly with a soft brush or a vacuum on low with a brush attachment. Avoid water and cleaners, which can mark the fabric.
