The Augustus Candle Wall Sconce brings the grandeur of historic estates to the wall with a moody, transitional edge. Its antique brass base rises into candle-inspired stems topped with matte black metal shades, recalling the warmth of candlelight. Mount it to flank an entryway mirror, above a dining room buffet, along a hallway, or in a living room alcove, in a single- or double-light version.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Should I choose one or two heads?
The single light (19 cm wide) suits a narrow wall or a pair flanking a mirror. The double light (50 cm wide) makes a stronger statement above a buffet or in an alcove.
What bulb does it take?
Each head uses a small E12 (candelabra) or E14 base bulb, not included. A warm-white LED works well; check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
Can I use this in a bathroom?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, so it's not suited to bathrooms or other damp areas.
How do I care for the finish?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, polish, and household cleaners, which can damage the brass and the matte black shades.
