Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulb does it take?
It uses a small E12 (candelabra) or E14 base bulb, not included. A warm-white LED works well; check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
Can I mount it as a pair beside the bed?
Yes. At 15 cm (5.9") wide and 37 cm (14.6") tall, a pair sits comfortably above two nightstands or on either side of a headboard.
Can I use this beside a bathroom mirror?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, so it's not suited to bathrooms or other damp areas.
How do I care for the finish?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, polish, and household cleaners, which can damage the brass and the matte black shade.
