Strikingly veined alabaster discs stack into a tall architectural pillar.
The Junius Column Alabaster Floor Lamp stacks veined alabaster discs on a black iron base, in a tall, cylindrical column form. Natural veining makes each fixture one-of-a-kind. It's a plug-in fixture with a foot switch and integrated warm LED, available in four heights, well suited to a living room corner, a primary bedroom, a reading nook, or a home office.
Stacked alabaster discs diffuse light through their own natural veining — no two columns look exactly alike.
A black iron base and core hold the stacked discs upright in a stable column.
A built-in LED at warm white 3000K lights the column from within, controlled by a foot switch on the plug-in cord.
Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It plugs into a standard wall outlet with a 150 cm (59") cord — no wiring or electrician needed. The plug type matches your region (US, UK, AU, or EU).
Can I replace the bulb?
No. The LED is integrated — there's no bulb to buy, swap, or match. When the LED eventually reaches end of life, the fixture itself would need replacing.
How heavy are these, and can I move them easily?
Weight ranges from 15 kg (91 cm version) to 30 kg (176 cm version) — the taller versions are substantial and best positioned once, rather than moved often. Two people are recommended for lifting the larger sizes.
Why does the alabaster look different from the product photos?
Alabaster is a natural stone with its own veining and translucency, so each column is slightly different from the next — that's expected, not a defect.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the alabaster column and iron base with a dry cloth. Always unplug before cleaning, and avoid water or abrasive cleaners on the stone.
